Happy Halloween

We dressed up for Halloween this year. We all had great costumes on. We played Halloween games such as pin the wart on the witch, Halloween dominoes, Halloween bingo, word searches etc. We had a great day.

Fashion Show

We had made robot vests for the green school fashion. We used lots of recycled materials to create them. We had a great day at the fashion show and we loved seeing all the wonderful things the other classes made too!

DEAR

We have had DEAR time every day at 10.30. This is where we take time out to 'drop everything and read'. We really enjoy this time everyday.

Autumn Art

We created autumn trees using a technique called pointillism. We used autumn colours and cotton buds to create our lovely trees. We also created leaf rubbings using leaves collected on our autumn walk. These were then used to create a whole class autumn tree which is on display in our classroom.

Maths and Literacy groups

We have maths and literacy groups three times a week. This is lots of fun.

Our School Walk

We had our school walk on Friday 30th of October. We were very lucky with the weather and had a lovey day.

History

We have been talking about growing and changing in September as part of history. Teacher asked us to bring in something from when we were small to show to the class. We also created timelines from birth to now. Here are some of the pictures...

Art September

We have art every week and are very creative and artistic in room 7. We used fabric and fibre and also focused on drawing this month. We created our own portraits, we were inspired by the work of Picasso and made our very own Picasso portraits.
